About me

Welcome to my blog. I am a mathematician working mainly in category theory, with side research interests in algebra, topology, logic, set theory and combinatorics. I serve on the editorial boards of Applied Categorical Structures and Cahiers.

I am employed as a Professor of Mathematics in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Stellenbosch University. In addition to research and lecturing, I lead there the program for Mathematical Sciences and convene the Foundations of Abstract Mathematics I and II courses.
