Together with a production team consisting of colleagues, students and friends, we have established a theatrical production series (2022, 2023, 2025), "Fundamano", which brings the spirit of mathematics to a theatrical stage. In the last production we explored the future where the rise of artificial intelligence has led to formation of a new human race: the hybrids, which are a mix of humans and computers. I am particularly indebted to Michelle Namachemo, who has been on the Fundamano journey with me from the beginning and has done amazing work both in co-directing the production with me as well as acting in a leading role. I first met with Michelle during Abstract Mathematics discussions organised by Sophie Marques. Sophie helped with producing half of the first Fundamano show. I am thankful to Charles Msipha for helping me to come up with the name "Fundamano". The production has been formally and financially supported by the epartment of Science and Innovation and Academy of Sciences of South Africa in partnership with the South African Mathematical Society, and the National Institute for Theoretical and Computational Sciences.
